About Keziah
Pronouns: She/Her
Hello! I’m a Master of Social Work student at the University of Toronto, excited to start my practicum placement at Growth and Wellness Therapy Center. My background is grounded in mental health support, client-centered communication, and safety-focused care. I’ve completed training in Mental Health First Aid, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), and Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI), which have helped me build strong skills in de-escalation, crisis response, and compassionate listening.
I approach client care with kindness, a strengths-based mindset, and a trauma-informed perspective. I’m passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate emotional, relational, and life challenges, creating a safe space where they feel heard, understood, and empowered to reach their wellness goals. While I’m still growing my clinical experience, I’m eager to learn alongside my clients and team members. I’m familiar with a range of approaches, including Emotion-Focused Therapy, strengths-based, and trauma-informed modalities, to name a few.
Note: Keziah is currently a student intern. Her work is supervised by Alejandra Battiston, MSW RSW.
