About Samantha
Pronouns: She / Her
Hello! My name is Samantha, and I am a Master of Social Work student at the University of Toronto. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating complex emotional experiences or life stressors that can feel overwhelming and difficult to manage alone. I most often work with children, teens, and young adults who are experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts.
I care deeply about walking alongside people as they explore their experiences and find ways to grow and heal. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, meaning we create a space together where you feel heard, respected, and safe to be yourself. We’ll focus on what matters to you, working collaboratively to explore your goals, build on what’s already working, and develop effective coping strategies. In our work together I integrate various therapy models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness practices. Whether you’re working through past pain, trying to change patterns that no longer serve you, or hoping to feel more grounded and fulfilled, I’m here to support you.
I look forward to connecting with you.
Note: Samantha is currently a student intern. Her work is supervised by Katherine Hall, MSW RSW.
