About Fatmah
Pronouns: She/Her
I believe therapy is where healing begins—when we feel truly seen, heard, and safe, it becomes possible to explore what’s beneath the surface and create meaningful change. I completed my Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Toronto and have experience in both private clinics and community mental health settings, supporting youth, immigrants, first responders, and individuals facing life transitions.
My clinical focus includes chronic pain and illness, eating disorders, trauma and PTSD, addictions, relationship challenges, and mood disorders. I take an integrative approach, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, DBT, CBT, EFT, and always through an attachment lens. This means I pay close attention to how your past shapes the way you connect with others-and yourself-today.
As an Arab-Canadian parent, I understand the complexity of navigating cultural identity, family roles, and the stigma that can come with seeking support. My goal is to offer a space where you feel grounded, supported, and gently guided back to your own resilience.
