I am a master of social work student completing my clinical practicum at The Growth & Wellness Therapy Centre. I hold a degree in Psychology from York University and a degree in Philosophy from Istanbul University, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Addiction and Mental Health.

My clinical experience includes working with immigrants and refugees, working as a case worker with CAMH’s Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) program, and completing my first social work practicum at CAMH’s MAARS Clinic, where I gained experience in addiction treatment and observed an Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) CBT group.

I believe that understanding a person means looking beyond their symptoms and seeing them as a whole person. Our mental health is shaped not only by our individual experiences, but also by our relationships, communities, culture, and the social and structural circumstances in which we live. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood.

My areas of interest include trauma, grief, anxiety-depression, cultural stigma and addiction. I am particularly interested in developing my skills in trauma-informed practice and supporting individuals in understanding how their past experiences may continue to influence their present lives. I approach therapy with curiosity, empathy, and respect for each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

I provide services in both English and Turkish and value working with people from diverse cultural and life backgrounds.
