About Precious

Pronouns: She/Her

My name is Precious Myers. I am a Jamaican-Canadian social worker and therapist with over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, women, parents, and families. My work is grounded in warmth, honesty, and the belief that healing does not need to be rushed. I have worked across school, community, and clinical settings supporting concerns such as anxiety, emotional regulation, identity development, relationships, parenting, and life transitions, with particular experience supporting Black and racialized clients, immigrant and first-generation families, and those impacted by family instability.

I approach therapy as a collaborative and relational process, with a particular interest in supporting adolescents, young adults, and women across the lifespan who are exploring self-worth, boundaries, identity, and relationships. I aim to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and authentic, while offering both emotional insight and practical tools. My work is informed by CBT-informed, DBT-informed, solution-focused, attachment-based, and trauma-informed approaches, and I completed my Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto.
