About Falia
Pronouns: She / Her
I am a registered psychotherapist with more than 25 years of experience providing counselling, psychotherapy, and support to individuals, families, and groups in hospital and community settings. My practice has focused on helping people who are struggling with substance use and complex mental health challenges, including experiences of loss within the context of addictions.
Over the course of my career, I have worked extensively with individuals facing life-threatening illness and have provided related grief counselling. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches in my work with clients managing emotional dysregulation, depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, and bereavement.
My educational background includes a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, as well as Bachelor’s degrees in Fine Arts and Psychology.
Feel free to reach out for a consultation to see how we could work together. I look forward to connecting!
