Life can present challenges that affect emotional well-being. Anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship difficulties can make daily life feel overwhelming. Counselling offers a safe and supportive space to pause, reflect, and begin making sense of your situation.
I bring over 20 years of experience working with individuals facing mental health concerns. At the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), I collaborated with clinicians to support research participants experiencing emotional distress. I also volunteer as a trained listener on a mental health text support line, offering empathetic and strengths-based conversations.
I support individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, stress and burnout, emotional regulation difficulties, sleep problems, and relationship challenges. I also help clients navigate life transitions, grief and bereavement, adjustment difficulties, caregiver stress, and work or academic stress.
I take a strengths-based, client-centered approach informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Gottman Method. My work is also grounded in trauma-informed care. Together, we would work to clarify your concerns, identify meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies that support change and foster resilience.
If you are considering counselling, you are welcome to reach out to explore whether working together may be a helpful next step.
Note: Eleanor is currently a student intern. Her work is supervised by Katherine Hall, MSW RSW.
