About Alex

Hi there, my name is Alex, welcome.

I approach my practice with a mindset of curiosity and an energy of compassion. I strive to create a space where people can feel understood and supported. I’ve helped clients uncover limiting beliefs, build on their strengths/resiliencies, and foster self trust and self compassion. I am passionate about helping people navigate difficult relationship dynamics, ones currently affecting them or ones that have stuck with them from the past, and setting boundaries so that they can find their way back to themselves.

Alex’s clinical supervision services are available to both OCSWSSW and CRPO registered clinicians.

  • I graduated with a BSc in Psychology in 2011, followed by an MSW in 2013, both from the University of Toronto. I am registered with the OCSWSSW and the OASW. My training and work experience have been in academic, non-profit, employee assistance program (EAP), private practice, and primary healthcare settings.

    The type of therapy I offer is eclectic, so I can tailor care to your needs. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), CBT for Insomnia, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Self Compassion.
