About Christy

A graduate of McMaster University, Christy is a registered Social Worker that has been working in the field since 1995.

As a clinician she specializes in attachment, child and youth development, healthy relationship communication, risk assessment, crisis intervention, adoption, and coping with trauma, grief and loss. Diversity and inclusion are interwoven in all aspects of Christy's anti-racist practice.

Christy has been providing pre and post partum support for expecting persons and parents for over 25 years. Christy’s work supports human beings from the time of conception throughout adulthood. Christy utilizes a trauma informed, strengths-based approach to support individuals with finding the answers within themselves to prioritize their mental health and well-being. Passionate about helping others to thrive, and creating a suicide safer community, Christy supports folks individually, in their intimate relationships, and when navigating family dynamics.

Christy’s clinical supervision services are available to both OCSWSSW and CRPO registered clinicians.
